Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe celebration. I watched Doctor Who half the day and then Mel Brooks movies with my darling =)
I head back to California in a few days and maybe will play some Sims and edit screenshots while I re-adjust to the time difference.
Once again, in my absence I have gained a shocking number of followers and am nearing a follower milestone. In lieu of a tangible follower gift instead I offer a promise to continually try to improve my pictures and stories. I’ve been reading up on photoshop techniques for a while and am itching to try out some more creative projects.

During some serious procrastination I watched some Lazy Game Reviews of early Sims 3 expansions because I’d never seen them. They really drove home the point that I never play my games. Seriously, the entire Ambitions review was news to me, I had no idea you could do half that stuff.
I’ll be going out of town for three weeks and will be back in January. I’m off to see my lovely fiance while he’s on break from medical school! I haven’t seen him in a year! I do have a few more posts queued and some screenshots that I may or may not edit while I’m away. Expect it to be quiet here.

I will be in Boston this coming week for a conference (woo!) so things will likely be quiet here. I have some screenshots to edit, if I finish them before I leave I’ll queue them up. Otherwise I’ll see you all next week =)
I do have one little goodie for Tuesday though, so keep a look out for that.
I was hoping that maybe by this weekend I would actually play Sims, but it doesn’t look that way. Still lots of work I need to do so I may be quiet for a bit.
Fun news: I finally got a learner’s permit yesterday so I can learn to drive (at age 26… I’ve been busy).
Also, I just noticed this new tag search bar. I like being able to see at a glance if tags I track have new posts and this new format totally kills that. Anyone else find it irritating?
I’m getting down to the last handful of screenshots from my Perfect Genetics save (which I haven’t opened since June). I was hoping by now I would have been done sorting all the CC on my machine so I could get back to playing, but no! Hence why I’ve only been posting little bits. You can expect that to continue until I finish this insane undertaking! (Though true to my word a few weeks back, I have been getting out more and am trying to be more diligent with job apps, so the Sims has taken a back seat.)
