Anyone know any Sims 3 animation makers that take requests? I’m thinking of something specific for a project a few months down the line. I thought I would start asking now. I have no clue how do this stuff otherwise I would!
I felt like a break from building in CAW and decided to play with recording some videos. Ever since I started this project I’ve been picturing an awesome trailer for the world. Except I forgot to turn off the UI and maptags in a lot of these and now have to re do them. Oy.
I think maybe I can crop the videos to cut out the UI? But that might reduce the quality. I have no idea. I’ve never done this stuff!

It’s starting to look like something! You may not see the resemblance but I studied in there almost every damn day for four years so I definitely see it =]
I was working on this building, got all the stairs right, all the terrain smoothed, when I remembered there’s a lower level that comes out from the side of the hill. Adding a foundation to a building that didn’t start with one isn’t that terrible, it just took me a while to sort out to make it work right. So much for my idea I might finish this thing tonight.
I took another whack at furnishing some apartment units. I’m not winning any awards here but it’s not terrible for an 8x12 space and certainly better than where I started. The other apartments are empty shells.
There’s 8 units on this lot, 6 on the other, but of course they can be combined either with stairs or by taking down walls. Or if you have some mods you could have 8 little families or single sims living in their own units.
I forgot the reference images. Ignore that all the windows are wrong, it wouldn’t have been a playable space if they had been that narrow.

Thanks! As you can see, I’m not being all creative, that’s how it looks. When I lived there everything was white but I guess they decided to paint.

So what would you rather have? Pre-furnished or empty shell to decorate yourself?
Second apartment lot is complete on the outside. The inside is completely empty. I guess I’m just not in a decorating mood today. I think it would be silly to leave it empty though. I changed fences and railings. They were cute but so ugly from far away. Oh wells.
Also, one long shot down the street. Getting good pictures in CAW doesn’t really happen, sorry =/
