I decided to try my hand at pattern making. Patterns are something I’ve long neglected in my game! I was kind of shocked how many patterns at COLOURlovers I recognized from various downloads.
This is a sampling of a few creations I liked and recolors of some premade patterns. Would anyone be interested in these in their game?

I spent a good part of today sorting the months upon months worth of CC downloads I had yet to look at. I installed like 150 patterns, yeah! And if it seems like I’m going pattern crazy in my upcoming posts, that’s why.
Somehow this made me want to start a CC free save. Thus a Perfect Genetics Challenge was born. Ms. Megan Keppler shall be my guinea pig founder and she’ll help me explore Pandora.
Because I’m not creative her PG traits will be blue hair and bright green eyes.

Anyway. Is anyone else experiencing problems replying to posts? Every time I try to reply I get an error message from Tumblr. It’s been doing that for days now! Am I the only one?
I turned into a Sim today. I spent several hours talking on the phone with a friend and when we hung up I thought, “my mood bars are low.”

I can’t decide if I hate the decor or not. Any feedback is appreciated! It’s a pretty pricey place for just two sims, around §36,000 for this 1 bed/1 bath, 15x20 home. But things add up when you’re not using CC!
I’m thinking I should try to share this on MTS. They suggest trying to share a few lots before trying to share a world and I would like to share Santa Carla at some point.
Edit: So of course I’m realizing I’m not keen on the decor here and I have a folder FULL of inspiration pictures! Did I look at any of them? Of course not… I may be editing this place tomorrow
Sorry if I’ve randomly followed/unfollowed/re-followed some of you lately. A while back I cut my following list in half when really all I needed to do was stop following the people posting 20 reblogs a day! So I’m slowly finding people and adding them back.
Having little to no CC makes my game challenging. I like having to push myself in order to make something look right. Don’t get me wrong I love that shit! But when your game is nothing but CC…Wheres the fun in that?
(Side note: This isn’t suppose to start anything… It’s an open discussion. Sorry if my wording seems a bit off or rude. Take care everyone!)

I am a total CC junkie but trying to create anything to share is a pain when it comes with a 5 page list of required downloads. I’m finding it’s not so bad keeping stuff CC free and actually having it look half decent!
Decided to play with that room planner Moarsims posted about. I had to take some liberties with the layout to translate it to Sims.
Then I decided to start decorating (it is nowhere near complete). Just using basegame stuff is a pain! Here’s the living room and kitchen/dinning, influenced by the below images. Not exactly to my tastes but what do you all think?
